I really really hate being lied to
I just don’t get it. How can you even be someones friend if you lie to them? The point of friendship is to feel close enough to a person to share everything with them. The good and the bad. Judgement free. Why make one stupid lie that turns into a whole lifetime of lies just to make people happy? TELL ME WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT LYING! Because honestly, you’re just alienating yourself and sooner or later, it all catches up with you.

Tell Damon, I’m rooting for him and Elena -Rose
Just look at the vulnerability on Damon’s face when Elena admits Stefan’s views on her feelings towards his brother. There is so much hope, skepticism, and downright awe that it makes my heart clench. He’s not hiding any of those emotions; they’re up right and center. It’s such a stunning contradiction to see him possess the courage to reveal this vulnerability to her.
More than anything, this is why I will ship these two until the end of the show. With just a look or a confession, she can bring this strong vampire to his knees. She’s the ONLY one that has the capability of bringing this version of Damon to the surface. Stefan can to a certain extent (like we saw in 3x17), but only Elena can completely get that sarcastic barrier of his to crumble. The only one that can get him to reveal what I would imagine him like back in 1864 - human.
